about

Maiah says of the collaboration, “I was also so excited to work with Chong The Nomad. I knew that if we put our minds together we would come up with a super unique bop!” Equally effusive, Chong The Nomad concurs, “I have been dying to work with Maiah Manser for a while, and both of our sounds combined created a truly special song filled with fun and experimentation.”

As for the lyrical theme of “Wrote A Lil Song,” Maiah offers this, “I had gone through a bit of a disagreement with my little sister and had a lot of fun creating an anthem of no longer putting up with someone who treats you badly. I really wanted to bring the lyrics back to that childlike/sibling rivalry most of us have experienced, and how sometimes that continues no matter how old you are.”

Chong The Nomad (real name Alda Agustiano) is a 26-year-old Indonesian-American producer, DJ and artist based in Seattle. She's already a strong presence in the sync world with spots for Singapore Airlines, Apple, and Universal Audio, as well as placements with Maybelline (broadcast ad), Modern Love (Amazon), and The Bold Type (Freeform), Nora from Queens (Comedy Central), Nike(Podcast). As a producer, she has co-produced the single on Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack featuring Rich Brian and 21 Savage. She also co-produced Wafia's Atlantic single "Pick Me". As an artist, she has shared stages with the likes of The 1975, Odesza, Death Cab for Cutie, The Head and The Heart, K.Flay, Omar Apollo,Toro Y Moi, and Japanese Breakfast.

Maiah Manser is a Los Angeles-based, songstress, vocalist, producer and visual artist who builds bridges between the worlds of automation and nature. Inspired by fantasy and otherworldly aesthetics, her arrangements combined with hauntingly powerful vocals create a chilling sensation that is thundering and ethereal. In addition to her solo music, she’s collaborated with different artists Robotaki, Mary Lambert, Maxchalant and Doe Paoro generating millions of streams. In recent news, Maiah is the vocalist on the alluring score of The Voyeurs (starring Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith and Ben Hardy) and her newest single “Can’t Hold Me Down” landed an immediate placement in the final season of Lucifer. One of her recent singles, “shine,” landed both Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Pop editorial playlists and both her latest singles 'shine' and 'i know' are currently circulating Discover Weekly. You can catch these songs on her sophomore EP Third Degree which she released in June 2022.
